Scam Protection
Malicious links and phishing images, gone before your members even click?
Discord scammers target gaming communities with fake giveaways, gift-card links, and phishing screenshots that can cost a member their account in a single click. Aleeva checks every message on your server against a continuously updated, global database of known scams. Malicious links and images are removed the moment they appear, and the account behind them is dealt with automatically, day and night, without a moderator lifting a finger. It is free for every server.
How do I activate Scam Protection?
Open the /settings menu, enable Scam Protection, and choose how Aleeva should respond: what happens to offenders, how many scam messages trigger an action, and which channel receives the alerts. It takes a few minutes, once. Until it is fully set up, Aleeva already removes scam messages but takes no further action.
What does Aleeva do when it catches a scam?
The scam message is deleted instantly, and for links Aleeva posts a short public notice that disappears after 30 seconds, so members know why it vanished. If the same account keeps posting scams within an hour, Aleeva applies the action you chose: a timeout, a kick, or a ban. Your mod team can get a detailed alert every time.
What about scams hidden in images?
Many scams never contain a clickable link; they arrive as a screenshot of a fake giveaway or a QR code. Aleeva fingerprints the images posted on your server and recognizes known scam screenshots even when they have been resized, cropped, or recolored to slip past filters, and can instantly timeout the account that posted one.
Can it catch scams it has never seen before?
Aleeva's blocklists update continuously, so brand-new campaigns are recognized within minutes. Better still, every Aleeva server shares the same threat network: a scam caught on any server helps protect yours, and yours protects everyone else. The more communities that use Aleeva, the stronger the protection gets.
